ABOUT DUNCAN EWALD
Artist, writer and author, Duncan Ewald has taught art, design and creative writing for over 30 years to students in
South Orange, Maplewood, and Chatham, NJ. He is a graduate of Manhattanville College and has Master's degrees from Wesleyan University and Pace University. He wrote and produced a record "Cuba and the U.S." for Current Events Magazine. He has edited three Harvard University social studies books, including The Soviet Union, Communist China, and Youth Crime and Punishment. He has self-published six children's picture books: Egghead, an augmented reality children's book, Snow Globe, Beach Rules, If Fish Were to Cry, Underpants, and Somersaults. He has also published two coffee table books featuring his artwork.

He has taught art, illustration, and book publishing at the School of Visual Arts; The Chatham Adult School; the Newark Museum; the Museum of Natural History; the Bronx Zoo and other museums in the Tri-State area. He works in mixed media: some images are hand-painted, while other pieces are photo digital paintings he creates utilizing advanced creative art platforms. He enjoys creating augmented reality paintings.
